The Psaltry Foundation is an organization established by Psaltry International Limited (PIL) to support farmers and their children in Nigeria. The foundation provides financial and material support to farmers and their children, focusing on educational opportunities through scholarship programs.
Scholarship Program: Known as the Brilliant Students Scholarship Program, it targets the children of farmers, offering them scholarships to pursue tertiary education.
Eligibility criteria include:
Scoring at least 200 in the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) exam.
Having five credits in West African Examinations Council (WAEC) or National Examinations Council (NECO).
The parent must be a farmer.
Applicants must be Nigerian and willing to attend a government-owned institution in Nigeria.
Applicants must pass an internal examination and screening by the foundation.
The foundation conducts screening exercises for scholarship applicants yearly, the recent one being, candidates were screened at Iseyin District Grammar School in Oyo State. We aim to support 100 beneficiaries in fields like Law, Medicine, Agronomy, and Engineering, covering not only tuition but also providing support for feeding and accommodation. The foundation has been involved in community development, including electrification projects in communities near their operations. Oluyemisi Iranloye, the managing director and CEO of Psaltry International Limited, is associated with the foundation's initiatives. The foundation has extended its efforts beyond scholarships, aiming to empower the next generation of leaders in agribusiness by providing educational resources and opportunities.
